Vanessa Bryant Fears That Kobe And Gianna’s Helicopter Crash Photos Are Going To Surface On The Internet
Vanessa Bryant is still fighting to be heard in her crash site photo lawsuit.
Vanessa Bryant was devastated when first responders allegedly shared the horrific photos from her husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna’s helicopter crash. A source reported that, according to court documents, Vanessa Bryant now lives “in fear” of the photos making their way to the internet.
In the reports, which were read on Monday (Dec. 6), Vanessa allegedly wrote:
“I will never be able to shake the anguish from knowing that the officials who are supposed to keep us safe treated Kobe and Gianna with such callous disrespect.”
She continued:
“For the rest of my life, one of two things will happen: either close-up photos of my husband’s and daughter’s bodies will go viral online, or I will continue to live in fear of that happening.”
Vanessa filed a lawsuit in 2020, not too long after the fatal accident took place. She slammed Los Angeles county with the suit after she reportedly claimed the photos that captured the ruined, lifeless bodies of her husband and daughter were passed around by first responders. Firemen and law enforcement would later allegedly confess to sharing the photos with their associates, casually showing them in places such as a local bar. She reportedly says that their actions have damaged her emotionally.

The mother of four allegedly stated that she’d seen at least one photo of Kobe’s corpse.
Yet, Los Angeles County has continuously fired back at her claims, reportedly arguing that her emotional distress is “hypothetical.” Further, they’ve allegedly said that the pictures were only shared among authorized personnel and were deleted afterward. A request for Vanessa to complete a psychiatric exam was reportedly filed, but it was overturned by a judge.
Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, 41, and his daughter, rising basketball star Gianna Bryant, 16, were tragically killed in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26, 2020. Six others were on-board.

Vanessa’s trial for the crash site photos is reportedly set to begin in February.
