Boosie Badazz Facing A $525k lawsuit For Orchestrating Onstage Fight That Caused Concert To Be Shut Down, Rapper Claims He Was Attacked

Boosie Badazz is letting the world know that, despite the $525k lawsuit he’s facing, his brawl on stage during an Atlanta performance was not a planned attack.

This past October Boosie Badazz, born Torrence Hatch Jr., took the stage at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena for the “Legendz of the Streetz” concert, which also included 2 Chainz, 44, Rick Ross, 45, Jeezy, 44, Lil Kim, 47, Gucci Mane, 41, and Fabolous, 44.

2-minutes into Boosie Badazz’s performance a fight broke out on stage that became so unruly Promoters for the musical event had to shut down the entire concert. According to reports, the 39-year-old rapper is now being sued by both the booker and promoter (MN2S Corp. and We Are Live Entertainment) of the concert for allegedly orchestrating the entire brawl.

The lawsuit filed by the two companies claim that Boosie puppeteered the fight because he was upset his request for more money was denied. Reportedly, the ‘Wipe Me Down’ rapper was initially booked for a total of $150k for 5 different appearances alongside some of his rap peers and he was given a $50k deposit before he was scheduled to hit the stage for night 1. However, according to the suit, before the event started Boosie contacted the president of We Are Live, Leonard Rowe, seeking more money than what was agreed upon. After his demand was turned down, Boosie allegedly threatened to ruin the whole event.

The suit adds that during the craziness that occurred, Boosie slipped past security and destroyed a bunch of expensive equipment before fighting with event staff. His alleged actions resulted in the show being stopped before the headliner, Rick Ross, could even take the stage.

The booker and promoter are suing Boosie for $525k in damages to recoup their losses.

Despite what the plaintiffs are claiming, Boosie recently took to his Twitter to share his side and argue that the fight wasn’t planned. The Louisiana native tweeted,

“TMZ POST THE F*CKING REAL WE WAS ATTACKED BY STAGE MFS WHO WASNT SUPPOSED TO HAVE GUNS N PHILLIPS ARENA”

He added,

“WE WAS ATTACKED I WAS PERFORMING”
