Gunna’s Bodyguard Bodyslams Jewelry Store Patron In Viral Video

Gunna was involved in a peculiar situation during a shopping trip.

Georgia rapper Gunna was at the center of a physical altercation inside the Mr. Alex jewelry store in Miami. A clip of the “Skybox” rapper’s security guard slamming an unidentified man into the ground has been making its rounds on social media. Gunna–whose real name is Sergio Giavanni Kitchens–can be seen wearing a vibrant striped ensemble, pacing in the midst of the mayhem.

While the snippet is less than 10 seconds long, it appears that Gunna’s bodyguard was breaking up a scuffle between the musician and the slam victim.

Towards the end of the video, the male curled up into a ball and surrendered. Muffled shouting, which could possibly be coming from the man, can be heard.

It’s unclear what unfolded prior to the start of the video or after the clip was filmed.

Just hours before the body slam heard ’round the world took place, Gunna was partying with fellow rapper Future.

A College Park native, Gunna has been making music since 2013. In 2018, he released a song called “Sold Out Dates” with Lil Baby, another rapper whose name is commonly mentioned alongside Gunna’s.

That same year, he teamed up with Travis Scott and Canadian rapper Nav for “Yosemite.” The song was featured on Scott’s highly successful Astroworld album.

One of his biggest hits “Drip Too Hard,” was also produced in 2018 and saw appearances from hitmaker Drake, Young Thug, and Lil Durk.
