Marlo Hampton Alludes To Kenya Moore Not Being Happy She’s Now A ‘RHOA’ Peach Holder & Reveals How She Found Out About Her Promotion
Are you ready to see Marlo Hampton as an official peach holder for the upcoming season of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta?’
Marlo Hampton first appeared on ‘RHOA’ in 2011 for season 4. Even though the fashionista has been a key feature on the popular reality series for years, it wasn’t until October 2020 that news broke that Marlo Hampton would be promoted from a friend of the show to the main cast. In a recent video posted online, Marlo Hampton shared how producers of ‘RHOA’ revealed to her that she’d have her own peach for season 14. She said,
“How does it feel to finally have a peach? It feels freaking amazing!”
Marlo continued,
“The day I found out I got my peach is the day I got a phone call from Hermes [saying] ‘your Birkin is in.’”
Marlo shared that while she was out shopping production called her and “bugged” her to quickly get home. She added,
“So I get to the house [and] I press the garage [opener] and there’s like, production in my garage with peach flowers and they’re like, ‘congratulations!’ I’m like, ‘what?’”

During the video, Marlo also addressed how she thinks her RHOA’ cast members feel about her being a part of the main lineup now. She said,
“Kenya, dagger to the heart. I’m here b*tch, move over, Moore! Make room diva! I feel that Kandi is happy but I feel that it was a shocker. I feel that Shereé is super excited about me having a peach.”
As previously reported, this past fall the official cast list for season 14 of ‘RHOA’ was released. In addition to Marlo, other peach holders are show returners Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Drew Sidora, as will OG Housewife Shereé Whitfield, who was last part of the cast in Season 10. four-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross is a series newcomer and has a peach as well.
Prior to getting her promotion, Marlo shared in an exclusive interview with theJasmineBrand that her fans deserved to see her hold a peach and share more about her life on ‘RHOA.’

She said,
“I’m at a point now I care for the Hamptons [her fans] and the Hamptons want to see more of me. The Hamptons deserve to see more of me and really not have to make up the story. But I care now for my fans, you know, because the Hamptons made me who I am today. So I do feel that they deserve to really come into my life because people painted this picture who they wanted me to be and wanted the world to see me as, and it’s like it’s nothing like that. I’m totally different.”
