Former Grey’s Anatomy Star Jesse Williams’ Ex Wife Wants Primary Custody Of Kids, Says Actor’s ‘Erratic Behavior’ Causes Her To Fear For Her Safety
It looks like ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star, Jesse Williams and his ex wife Aryn Drake-Lee are still duking it out when it comes to custody of their children. According to Radar Online, the actor’s ex wants primary custody of their children and is accusing Jesse of failing to follow the current custody schedule in place. As a result, she wants the court order stating they share joint custody of their two kids to state she has primary. She is also accusing Williams of threatening to call the police on her over recent custody disputes.
In her motion, Aryn is asking the court to change the custody agreement to state Jesse Williams has visitation, instead of joint custody. She wants the court to order Jesse the option of visitation on the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of each month. She also is demanding he shares his future filming project schedules to allow her time to plan. In the past, she accused him of not giving her a heads up on his shooting schedules.

Aryn Drake-Lee
“resulted in increased inconsistency, longer absences, regular last-minute cancellations and other issues which are incredibly disruptive to our children’s lives.”
“I am requesting modification of the custody schedule and other provisions of the judgment to better reflect the new reality of our lives, and most importantly, properly, and positively address the needs of our children.”
“Since Jesse’s exit, there have been multiple instances of Jesse notifying me with very little notice that he will be gone for weeks or months at a time for work, and therefore must cancel his custodial time.”

Jesse Williams
“Despite my repeated requests, he routinely refuses to share the details of his schedule. Rather, he tells me he’s leaving without sharing specifics, only making vague references as to when he might be back.”
After being together for thirteen years, Jesse Williams filed for divorce from Aryn in 2017. They had been married for 5 years and share two children together: Maceo, 5, and Sadie, 7. Reportedly, the split was contentious with both sides playing dirty in court. As previously reported, when their divorce was finalized in October 2020, Jesse Williams was ordered to pay $40,000 in child support each month, plus $100,000 over two payments in spousal support. Williams was permitted to keep the $936,810 he earned from his role on “Grey’s Anatomy” after they separated on April 11, 2017. The other income would be split. Aryn Drake-Lee was awarded their home and they each kept their respective cars.
A hearing on the custody dispute has been set for April 2022. Jesse Williams has yet to respond.
