Lori Harvey Reveals That Michael B. Jordan Didn’t Know Anything About Skincare Before They Started Dating: He Used To Just Wash His Face With A Warm Rag

It looks like Michael B. Jordan has his girlfriend, Lori Harvey, to thank for his clear skin!

Lori Harvey is definitely taking the skincare industry by storm. The 25-year-old socialite started her own beauty line, ‘Skn by LH,’ in October 2021 with five introductory products, which reportedly sold out within 48 hours after the initial launch. In addition to Lori Harvey’s fans benefiting from her skincare knowledge, her boyfriend, Michael B. Jordan, 34, appears to be learning a lot from her as well. During a recent interview, Lori Harvey shared that prior to them dating, Michael B. Jordan didn’t have a skincare routine and she taught him “everything he’s learned.” She said,

“Mike doesn’t know a ton about skincare — everything he’s learned, he learned when we got together. He used to just wash his face with a warm rag and walk out the door, and it would make me cringe.”

This isn’t the first time that Lori has chatted about helping the ‘Creed’ actor with his facial cleaning routine. As previously reported, prior to launching her company, Lori revealed that she tested all her products out on Michael B. Jordan. She said,

“I tested all my products of course on myself, but I also tested them on my boyfriend. He has become my live test model. So now he’s very into his skincare routine, as well. And he tells me all the time that when he’s on set the makeup artists compliment his skin now.”

During her latest interview, Lori also dished on how she hopes her latest business endeavor will be an inspiration to young black girls who also want to work in the beauty industry. She said,

“There aren’t a lot of big skin-care brands that are headed up by or have been founded by Black people or, specifically, Black women, so I wanted to add to that list.”

She added,

“When the next generation is coming up and there’s that little brown girl who wants to get into skincare or start her own company, she can see me and be like, ‘I can do it, too.'”
