Busta Rhymes Would Beat Eminem In A Verzus Battle, Says E-40 [VIDEO]
E40 Says Busta Rhymes Would EAT Eminem In A VERZUS Battle!
Instagram webcast series VERZUZ has brought some heavy hitters to the stage since its launch at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic such as Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Ludacris, and Nelly. Now, former VERZUS performer and “Sick Wid It Records” founder E40 says he’d like to see The Real Slim Shady Eminem and Busta Rhymes go head to head, though he thinks Busta will ultimately take the win.

In a recent interview, Tell Me When To Go rapper E40 made it clear who he thinks should step to the stage in a VERZUS battle against Detroit legend Eminem. The hip-hop mogul says that while he has love for both artists, he thinks that Busta’s animated performance style and an “up-tempo slaps” gives him more edge to win over the Love The Way You Lie artist.

In the interview he states:
“The person that will, that nobody wanna see in a VERZUS battle, Imma keep 1thouwow and I love Eminem. And I love this guy to to the fullest, and his talents speak for himself. Busta Rhymes will eat Eminem in a VERZUS battle. I really believe that. Busta Rhymes go crazy.”
He goes on to praise both iconic artists, but says Busta has what it takes to shock people by reminding him of his extensive catalog of solo hits, as well as hits with other big name artists such as Mariah Carey and Craig Mack.
Earlier this month, Aftermath Entertainment CEO and legendary record producer Dr. Dre, who will be performing at the halftime Superbowl show this year alongside Slim Shady, initially posed the best Eminem match-up question to his Instagram followers.
The post prompted a response from hit making producer Swizz Beats who co-founded VERZUZ with super star producer Timbaland, and was the first to suggest a Busta Rhymes, Eminem match up.

Though many users felt Eminem and Busta Rhymes wouldn’t be a great match-up, it seems some of the greats are still interested in seeing the two go head to head!
