Nick Cannon Confirms He’s Expecting His 8th Child W/ Model Bre Tiesi + Alyssa Scott, Mother Of His Late Son Zen Seemingly Responds To Public’s Reaction

It looks like our speculation was right and Nick Cannon is expecting Baby number 8 with Model Bre Tiesi! 

During the latest episode of Nick Cannon’s talk show, he confirmed recent rumors surrounding his family life and revealed that he has another baby on the way. The entertainer shared that he and Bre Tiesi, 30, are expecting a baby boy. He said, 

“It’s a boy. We found out officially yesterday.” 

He added,

“As everybody knows, I have a lot of children and I love them all, dearly – sincerely. And every single one of my children is just as special as the other.”

Nick Cannon, 41, then touched on his feelings towards people who have negative things to say about his family dynamics.

As previously reported, last month Cannon’s youngest son, 5-month-old Zen, died of brain cancer. Cannon shared Zen with model Alyssa Scott. While speaking about Bre Tiesi’s pregnancy, Cannon revealed that he has been aware of his 8th child “for a while,” even before Zen’s untimely death in December.

He continued, 

“So even going through all of that, this was always in the back of my mind, like, ‘What is the right time? How do I share this?’ No one – we didn’t expect Zen to pass away … All of the news was so unexpected.”

He added, that it was important to him and Bre Tiesi to respect Alyssa Scott’s mourning process. 

“I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough to — She held off making our announcements and speaking on social media. She’s a very, you know, in the public eye type of person, but keeps her stuff private as well. And it was just one of those things like, you don’t – I didn’t know what to do.”

Following the airing of his show, Alyssa Scott seemingly addressed how people reacted to Cannon’s announcement. The model shared a heartfelt post to her Instagram page and said, 

She also shared via her IG stories that she and her loved ones knew Zen “would not make it to see 6 months.”
