Will the real Wendy Williams please stand up?
As previously reported, earlier this week it was confirmed that “The Wendy Williams Show” would be coming to an indefinite end soon, and Sherri Shepherd, 54, would replace that time slot with her own talk show, launching in the fall. Following the release of the shocking news, Howard Bragman, 65, who is the reported rep for Wendy Williams, 57, released a statement claiming that the popular TV personality was understanding about the changes taking place surrounding her show. He said,
“It’s been a challenging time for Wendy as she deals with her health issues. She is incredibly grateful to Debmar-Mercury, to Sherri and everybody else who has supported the show through this time. She, more than anyone, understands the reality of syndicated television — you can’t go to the marketplace and sell a show that’s the Maybe Wendy Show.”
However, Wendy Williams’ new official Instagram page seemingly claims otherwise. In a text post shared via her IG stories, Wendy revealed that she never gave anyone permission to speak on her behalf.

Despite the IG page being verified and reportedly run by Wendy herself, Bragman doesn’t believe this post came from his friend. He hinted that he believes someone else made the post. He said,
“I’m not honestly convinced of the source of that social media post, so when my old friend Wendy FaceTimes me personally and we alone have a chance to discuss recent events, together we can figure out the best path forward.”
The statement was also shared on Bragman’s reported IG page.

Wendy has yet to respond to Bragman’s latest remarks.
