Tamar Braxton claimed her ex-husband Vince Herbert prevented her from talking to her 8-year-old son.

R&B singer Tamar Braxton took to Instagram live to complain about being unable to reach her 8-year-old son, Logan Herbert. The child was with Tamar’s ex-husband, Vince Herbert. According to the reality star, she couldn’t speak with her son through Vince because he has her number blocked.

Her sister, Trina Braxton, joined the live stream. As Tamar drove to the recording studio, she said:

“I’m looking for your nephew, Logan. I have called him numerous of times today and it seems like the only way I can get his attention and get him to call me is if I’m on [Instagram] live.”

She added:

“Why do baby daddies and baby mamas think it’s okay to block you while they got your child?”

Tamar later explained the situation on an episode of Dish Nation. During a segment, the co-hosts discussed parents blocking each other while they spend time with their children.

“If I can’t get ahold of my child, I’m supposed to be able to call his daddy. What happened was, my son is always on my [Instagram] live. I called him–on his phone, not his dad’s phone–I called him on his phone, and he didn’t answer for a few days, so that’s a difference. So, I decided to go live because I knew that he would pop up on my live. He didn’t pop up on my live, so Vince got roasted.”
