The Game Wants A Verzuz Battle With Eminem: I Used To Think Eminem Was Better Than Me, He Not

The Game wants all the Verzuz smoke with Eminem!

During a recent sit down with Drink Champs, Compton rap artist The Game revisits his view of Detroit lyricists Eminem, saying that he no longer thinks the rapper is better than he is and challenging it to a Verzuz battle.

The Game

Verzuz has fired up many musical artists and fans alike as the show pits the catalogs of notable artists against one another in a hit for hit music showdown. Most recently, 42-year-old rapper The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is the latest artist to throw in his bid to enter the ring, against none other than “The Real Slim Shady”, aka Marshall Mathers, aka rap giant Eminem.

Eminem

While discussing his thoughts on Eminem’s impressive career, The Game stated:

“Eminem, Eminem is Eminem, and I like Eminem, he’s one of the f–ng good MC’s. Great MC’s.”

He continues:

“And I used to think Eminem was better than me.”

To which Drink Champs host and former rap artist N.O.R.E. responds:

“So what you saying right now?”

With The Game quickly and confidently exclaiming:

“He not.”

N.O.R.E. also known by the stage name Noreaga, goes on to tell The Game he doesn’t actually want to see “The Real Slim Shady” rapper in the ring. However, The Game takes all offense to the comment stating:

“Yes I do! What do you mean? Yea I do! The f–k you mean?”

In a interview from the early days of the “Eazy” rappers career, The Game spoke very highly of Eminem while discussing Eminem’s Recovery album and said:

“nobody want to mess with “The White Boy”

Apparently, not even hip-hop legend Jay-Z. He even goes as far as to say that if Eminem ever came to him wanting beef, he would run.

Despite rap artist E-40 recently suggesting Busta Rhymes and Eminem be paired against each other in a Verzuz battle, it seems The Game has grown in his confidence and lyrical skills enough to claim his bid against the iconic lyricist.
