Wendy Williams Has Reportedly ‘Vowed Not To Drink’ In Preparation Of A ‘Big Comeback’
It sounds like Wendy Williams is ready for a major comeback.
Wendy Williams, 57, has been out of work for months due to a number of health issues, but she seems to be on the mend. A new report says she’s no longer relying on a wheelchair and even looking to return to work.
“She looks good!” said a source. “She isn’t fully back, but she seems like 80% of her old self. In another couple of months, and I bet she’s totally back.”

The source credits her alleged improvements to the support of her family and several lifestyle changes, including taking a break from alcohol.
“Wendy has vowed not to drink and she is eating much healthier these days and it shows, her legs aren’t nearly as swollen.”

Wendy Williams has reportedly been in Florida with family as she recovers, but the source claimed she’s planning to return to New York “soon.”
“Wendy is making plans to make a big comeback,” the source added.
The Jasmine Brand reached out to representatives for Williams for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The update comes weeks after it was announced that The Wendy Williams Show would officially end after its current season. Williams hasn’t hosted the program since July 2021 due to issues with her health, including Graves disease and the coronavirus. She was temporarily replaced with guest hosts, but in February, with no sign that she would be returning anytime soon, Debmar-Mercury pulled the show. The last episodes will reportedly air later in 2022.

Former The View co-host Sherri Shepherd will replace Williams in the fall with a show called “Sherri.” Sherri Shepherd has shared her hope that Williams will appear on the show, along with other stars such as Idris and Sabrina Elba, and Barack and Michelle Obama.
