Kylie Jenner Filed Trademark For ‘Kylash’ To Expand Her Make Up Line
Cosmetic company CEO, Kylie Jenner, is looking to expand her beauty empire even further.
TV personality-turned-businesswoman Kylie Jenner already has multiple business franchises under her belt, which includes Kylie Swim, Kylie Skin, Kylie Baby, Kylie Cosmetics, and her KENDALL + KYLIE clothing line. According to reports, the 24-year-old socialite and her team have officially filed documents to trademark “Kylash,” the phrase written on the boxes of her Kylie Cosmetics fake eyelash line.
Following the major boss move, Kylie Jenner is now looking to expand her make up line with the addition of products. She plans on adding cosmetic preparations, extension fibers, eyelash tints, eye makeup remover, mascara, and eyelash serums to her line. Kylie previously trademarked “Kylash” for her fake eyelash line back in 2018.
After launching her first lip kit in 2015, Kylie Cosmetics earned $420 million in retail sales 18 months later. The $29 lip kits, which includes a lip liner and a coordinating lipstick – sold out in under 30 seconds. Kylie’s first launch provided three products – Dolce K, Candy K and True Brown K Lip Kits, with 5,000 kits in each color.
In February 2016, the cosmetic line increased to six products, and Kylie Lip Kits officially became Kylie Cosmetics. From there, the beauty mogul and mother-of-two grew her company to sell eye shadows, liners, blush, lipstick, highlighters and eye brow powders.
