Chris Brown Seemingly Congratulates Rihanna On Giving Birth To First Child
Looks like Chris Brown wants to send well wishes to ex-girlfriend and new mother, Rihanna.
Shortly after reports revealed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their baby boy into the world, Chris Brown took to Instagram to seemingly congratulate the new parents. On Thursday (May 19), Chris Brown, 32, wrote “Congratulations” via his IG stories and captioned the post with prayer hands, a red heart, and a pregnant woman emoji.

As previously reported, beauty/style icon Rihanna, 34, gave birth to a baby boy on May 13 in Los Angeles. Her boyfriend and father of her child, rapper A$AP Rocky, 33, has been by her side since giving birth, according to a source of the couple. The name of the child has not yet been revealed.

Brown and Rihanna previously dated from 2007 to 2009. The pair ultimately called it quits after a domestic violence incident following a heated argument that took place in February of 2009. On the night of the Grammy Awards, Rihanna was left bruised and bleeding after Brown attacked her, causing her to be hospitalized from her injuries.
The R&B star later turned himself in to authorities and plead guilty to a felony assault charge. Brown took a plea deal for the assault, which required community labor, 5 years probation, domestic abuse counseling, and a 5-year restraining order. Reportedly, the former couple were working on their friendship and rekindled their relationship from 2012-2013.
