Rihanna Plans To Expand Fenty Beauty & Fenty Skin To Africa
Rihanna will officially offer her Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin brands outside of the states.
Rihanna, beauty and style icon, founded cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty in September 2017, becoming one of the first makeup brands to offer over 40 (now 50) foundation shades. Now, she is looking to expand her beauty empire even further. Rihanna, 34, recently announced that her beauty products will now be available in Africa.

On Tuesday (May 10), the billionaire businesswoman took to her official social media accounts to reveal the exciting news with her abundance of fans. Rihanna is seen posing in front of a green backdrop wearing a head wrap for her products releasing in Africa, in which she called “Fenty Africa.” When addressing her 100 millions of Instagram followers, the fashion mogul said,
“I’ve been waiting for this moment!! Fenty Beauty & Fenty Skin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!!”
Rihanna also mentioned select African countries that will have the beauty products delivered and accessible to them. She continued,
“Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe… we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!! #FentyAfrica.”

Fenty Beauty is popular for its broad inclusivity across skin tones and gender, making its mark on the make up scene and building its demand to cater to other continents.
For a while, Fenty did not distribute to Africa. Under LVMH, a luxury French corporation, the company gave Fenty global distribution through Sephora. Sephora, one of the largest beauty retailers in the world, did not offer their products to African clientele — until now.
