Reportedly, Anthony only planned to reappear on the TNT program for a solo season in support of Dick Wolf. However, the Blackish star has not confirmed this nor made public comments about his departure from the show at this time.

Anthony’s decision to leave the series comes a couple of months after his wife, Alvina Anderson filed for divorce for a second time, ending 23 years of marriage to the actor. Reportedly, Alvina cited the two had “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking spousal support. Their divorce settlement is reportedly still ongoing.
