Martin Lawrence Wants Eddie Murphy to Pay for Their Kids’ Potential Wedding: I’m gonna try to get Eddie to pay for it [VIDEO]
It looks like Martin Lawrence is hoping that Eddie Murphy will foot the bill if their kids end up getting married!
During a recent interview, the ‘Bad Boys for Life’ star, 57, joked about his daughter, Jasmin Lawrence potentially conceiving a “comedy super-baby” with Eddie Murphy’s son Eric Murphy, after their kids went Instagram official with their relationship last year. When asked if he and Eddie Murphy, 61, have talked about their children’s romance, Martin Lawrence said,
“We haven’t talked about it. We kind of just stay out of their business and let them do their own thing, and respect their thing.”

Martin also admitted that despite tradition, he is more than willing to allow the groom’s father to take care of their kid’s potential wedding. Martin joked and said,
“I’m gonna try to get Eddie to pay for it.”

As previously reported, Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy went public with their relationship last summer when Eric took to Instagram to share a sweet message for Jasmin. He posted a photo of them together with the caption,
“Head over heels in LOVE with YOU @jasmin_lawrence #myotherhalf#equallyyoked#iloveyou”

A month later, Jasmin Lawrence wished Eric Murphy a happy birthday putting their relationship into the public eye. She shared a snapshot of the two of them all smiles with the caption,
“Happy birthday, my love! I’m so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side. Cheers to many more blessings, laughs, and beautiful memories! I love you so much!!”

Thankfully, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are far from strangers strangers and have known each other for quite some time. The comedians both starred in the 1992 film Boomerang.
They were also the lead roles in the 1999 film Life.
More recently, they posed together with Will Smith and Wesley Snipes in October 2019. At the time, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were taping Bad Boys 4 at the same studio where Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes were filming Coming 2 America.
