Nick Cannon, Who Is A Father Of 8, Admits He’s ‘Failed Miserably’ At Monogamy & Relationships
Nick Cannon may be successful in many areas, but his love life isn’t one of them.
During a recent interview, the TV personality was asked whether or not he would ever consider getting married again. Nick Cannon replied,
“I’ve failed miserably so many times at monogamy and relationships.”
He added,
“But God ain’t done with me. We’re gonna figure it out.”
Nick Cannon was previously married to singer Mariah Carey, which he refers to as “one of the greatest experiences” of his life. Their union ran from 2008 until 2016, during which time they gave birth to 11-year-old fraternal twins Monroe and Moroccan.
He previously admitted that he isn’t really a fan of marriage in the traditional sense. Cannon said,
“It depends on what you call marriage. Getting the government involved, nah. We can go have a ceremony somewhere. Why would [the] government be involved in your love life? That seems so bizarre to me. It’s really a business and to bring business and love together, that’s a tough one to get involved with.”
Since his divorce from Mariah Carey, Cannon has fathered six other children with four other women. He and Brittany Bell are parents to two children: Powerful Queen, 1, and Golden, 5. With Abby De La Rosa, he has twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, who are nine months old. Zen, his child with Alyssa Scott, passed away in December 2021 at the age of six months due to brain cancer.
Model Bre Tiesi is expected to give birth to a baby boy later this year.

While Cannon isn’t currently in a relationship with any of the mothers of his children, he admits that may just be open to giving the married life another chance. He said,
“I’m liking the man that I’m growing into. And I feel like [I’d marry] someone who will understand me and can stand by me … where they’re weak, you’re strong.”
