Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – DNA Test Confirms Actor Is The Half-Brother Of Five Strangers, All Fathered By His Dad, Former Professional Wrestler Rocky Johnson
It looks like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has new members to add to his family tree.

The Rock and father Rocky Johnson
As you may already know, former professional wrestler The Rock, born Dwayne Johnson, 50, is the son of the late Rocky Johnson, born Wayde Bowles, the first Black Georgia heavyweight champion and Canadian professional wrestler.
It has been reported that DNA tests confirmed that Rocky Johnson also fathered five additional children named Lisa Purves, 53, Trevor Edwards, 55, Adrian Bowles, 52, Aaron Fowler, 52, Paula Parsons, 58 – making them Dwayne Johnson’s half-siblings.

Lisa Purves stated she tried to contact Rocky Johnson many times over the years. The first time she called him she was 18-years-old. Lisa Purves says her father hung up on her once she let him know who she was. Before Purves turned 30-years-old she called him again and Rocky Johnson hung up the phone. Purves said:
“I was really embarrassed that my father didn’t want me.”
Purves’ embarrassment by her estranged father led her to start a personal project in 2017 about the effects of childhood abandonment. According to reports, she planned to make a documentary about children whose parents purposely separated from them. Purves couldn’t find anyone to tell their story so a friend advised she told her own.
Purves said:
“I started doing research on what happens when you abandon a child, how it affects their life.”
Purves continued:
“And I’m like, this is exactly me. Problems with self esteem. All the sh*t that it lists is me.”

In 2020, Rocky finally took a DNA test. However, the results returned two months after he died of a heart attack at 75-years-old.
Reportedly, although Rocky never welcomed the recently confirmed five children, his brother Ricky stepped up to embrace them instead.
The Rock’s new siblings spoke on finally having confirmation that the actor is their brother and reflected on the decisions their estranged father made. Adrian Bowles said:
“Dwayne has nothing to do with the decisions that his dad made; he doesn’t even know who we are.”
Purves added:
“Dwayne doesn’t owe us anything.”
Purves continued:
“There are millions of other kids just like me and I want to tell people, face your shame. If one person heals from watching this documentary, then putting my pain in public is worth it.”
