Nick Cannon Addresses Claims He Dressed Up As A Cheerleader To Help Comfort Comedian/Friend Kel Mitchell
Nick Cannon has entered the chat.
The TV host stepped in to Baller Alert’s Instagram comments on Wednesday, July 6, to address claims that he once dressed in a cheerleader uniform to comfort comedian Kel Mitchell. Nick Cannon said,
“Yep!! We Probably had the big ear of corn, a bunch of orange soda, and a couple of Kids Choice Awards up our a*s too!”
As previously reported, Tyisha Hampton, Kel Mitchell‘s ex-wife, recently shared the weirdly interesting story involving Nick Cannon with her 13k TikTok followers. Written as a caption over the video, playing a cover of Beyonce’s hit “Drunk In Love”, Tyisha wrote:
“Remembering when I came home early to #nickcannon wearing my full cheerleading uniform (including the briefs) doing cheers on the bed for my ex husband #kelmitchell to cheer him up because he cheated on me !”
She added,
“#kelmitchell #nickcannon you promised me you would clean it and bring it back ! #wheresmychearleaderuniform #roleplay”
Kel Mitchell and Tyisha Hampton were a couple until 2005. The former lovers made headlines in 2021 while publicly feuding over supposed unpaid child support, with Tyisha Hampton claiming her ex owed around $1.2 million in unpaid financial support and tax debt. Months later, she accused her famous ex of physically abusing her while they were married.

Kel strongly refuted the child support accusations, claiming his ex was merely trying to gain clout. The father of four has two children with Tyisha: son Lyric & daughter Allure.
