JT & Yung Miami Address Delay In Their Upcoming Album: It’s Not Dropping Cause We Had Some Issues

City Girls fans must remain patient as they wait on the rap duo to release their album.

Recently, City Girls, Yung Miami, 28, and JT, 29, took it to social media to announce the delay on their third studio album release. Yung Miami said:

“The album was supposed to drop July 29th but it’s not dropping because we had some issues.”

Yung Miami continued:

“Not issues but you know when you dropping an album you have to make sure that everything is –”

Fans speculated that the album became delayed because Yung Miami, born Caresha Romeka Brownlee, and JT planned to drop it on the same day Beyonce drops her seventh studio album ‘Renaissance.’

On Twitter, JT made a long story short when it came to explaining why the City Girls won’t be dropping their album on July 29th. JT tweeted:

“Our album NOT finished!!!! TF …”

A fan questioned if their album was coming out this month. JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnsonreplied:

“Did I ever say that? Oh ok bye y’all find another Bid ASAP!”

Another was curious as to how many features were on the rap duo’s album. JT added:

“NONE! It’s Caresha FT JT”

The City Girls has a few projects under their belt. They released their debut studio album ‘Girl Code’ in 2018 selling over 200,000 units and peaked in the top half of Billboard’s 200 at number 55. The rap duo released their second studio album ‘City on Lock’ in 2020 featuring artists such as Doja Cat, Yo Gotti, and Lil Baby.
