Mase Speaks Out Against Fivio Foreign’s Claims That He Signed The Rapper To A Bad Deal & Only Paid Him $5K: I Gave Him $750K

It looks like Mase isn’t holding back when it comes to clearing his name!

During a recent episode on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Mase took the time to publicly respond to Fivio Foreigns’ claims that his production deal only included a measly $5,000 advance.

Hosts Gillie Da Kid and Wallo wasted no time and immediately cut to the chase to discuss the Fivio Foreign controversy. Mase accused Fivio of being “reckless” and made the shocking claim that the “City Of Gods” rapper’s advance was $750K and not $5,000! He explained,

“At one time, I gave him $5,000, but I gave him $750,000. Because I set him up to do a deal to where I can control the deal, make the deal what it should be because I knew if he had the leverage, he would go in there and sell both of us out. So he wasn’t able to do that because of the way I structured the deal.”

Mase continued,

“Then, when we went in the building, I took $800,000 and he took $700,000. The reason why it went down to $700,000 is because when I gave him $750,000 and I took $750,000, he owed me $50,000.”

Mase also claims that he put $50,000 towards Fivio’s career before he signed his record deal, presumably with Columbia Records.

Earlier this month, on the same podcast Fivio Foreign said he originally signed with Mase for $5,000 after a friend pressured him. He explained,

“The n***a that brought me to him, he was like, ‘Yo, man. Just sign that sh*t, You buggin,’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, read it.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, just sign it. It’s good.’ So, I just signed it.”

He continued,

“$5,00 was a lot to me–$5,00 hit, that sh*t hit. I thought that sh*t was going to last until whenever it was going to last. That sh*t ain’t last two weeks.”

Fivio Foreign went on to praise Mase’s knowledge of the music industry and credited him for sharing that wisdom with him.

Fivio added,

“I don’t really be complaining or crying over spilled milk. I already made this decision. For me, I’m in a better situation now. He get what he get…But I control my money.”
