Fetty Wap Arrested After Allegedly Threatening To Kill A Person During FaceTime Call, Has Bond Revoked For Parole Violation

Fetty Wap is back behind bars after prosecutors claim he flashed a gun and threatened to kill a man during a December 2021 FaceTime call.

According to reports, rapper/singer Fetty Wap, 31, was arrested in New Jersey by the FBI on August 8 for allegedly waving a gun during a FaceTime call, violating the terms of his release. Willie Junior Maxwell II, who goes by the stage name Fetty Wap and is said to be worth $10 million, was allegedly called a “rat” (a.k.a. a snitch) by his rival and threatened to kill the man and everyone with him during the exchange.

Reportedly, the New Jersey rapper’s possession of the firearm violated the conditions put in place when he was released from custody on a $500K bond from a prior drug charge in October 2021.

As previously reported, the “Trap Queen” hitmaker was arrested on narcotics charges for his part in alleged drug trafficking in Long Island and his native New Jersey, along with five others — including a New Jersey correctional officer. The FBI seized $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, as well as two kilograms of heroin and fentanyl pills from the bust. Fetty is now in custody and the judge revoked his bond at a hearing today (August 8).

Last month, Fetty also found himself under fire after a dispute with a female fan was caught on video. While at an appearance at the Saturday In The Park festival in Sioux City, Iowa, the artist can be seen slapping what appears to be a water bottle out of a woman’s hand and then smacking her hat off of her.
