Fetty Wap Thanks Followers For Supporting Him Through Drug Charges
New Jersey rap-singer Fetty Wap left a sweet message for his fans on Instagram amid federal charges.
Fetty Wap–best known for his 2015 hit “Trap Queen”–took to Instagram to thank his fans for remaining supportive in the midst of his misfortune. In his Instagram story, he expressed:
“I just wanna say thank y’all, you know what I mean, everybody supportin’ me…and standing by my side through this s***…you already know, like I said, man. Never fold, never bend…head up like a nose bleed.”

Back in October, Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxell II, was arrested by the FBI at the Rolling Loud music festival in New York City. The arrest took place moments before Fetty Wap was set to perform. His charges allege that he ran a lucrative drug ring, accumulating millions by transporting hardcore drugs from coast to coast. The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office–where Fetty Wap is charged–released photographs showing the bricks of cocaine and heroin, large wads of cash, and drug distribution tools.
Fetty Wap was detained but has since been released on a $500,000 bond. Under the conditions of the bond, he was ordered to surrender his passport, agree to drug testing, and wear a GPS monitor. He is facing life in prison and, due to the extent of the charges, he is not expected to leave the courtroom unscathed.
In addition to pending charges, Fetty Wap is dealing with the death of his younger brother and four-year-old daughter, who’d been battling an unknown illness. His next court appearance is set for Nov. 24.
