Young Thug – Additional Charges Involving A Gun Machine Were Brought Against The Rapper Amid His RICO Indictment

More criminal allegations were recently placed upon Young Thug.

According to reports, The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office announced a new indictment that brings new charges against rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams. The district attorney’s office added these charges to prove that Young Thug has been the leader of a criminal street gang for years.

According to Fani Willis, Fulton County District Attorney, 28 defendants from May’s indictment are included in the new indictment, which revolves around YSL, an alleged gang organization created by the “Check” rapper and two others. Willis said:

“YSL is an acronym for ‘Young Slime Life.’”

Fani Willis elaborated:

“It is a hybrid gang that operates here in Atlanta and it’s an affiliate of the Bloods gang.”

According to reports, the new charges against the 30-year-old and the four other defendants stemmed from their arrests on Thursday (Mar. 17) and Monday (May 9). As previously reported, Thug was arrested on May 9, in Georgia after being accused of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The rapper was hit with his first round of additional charges after Atlanta police raided his home in Buckhead.

Back in May, Brian Steel, Thug’s attorney, said his client was innocent. Steel said:

“I’ll tell you the response to any allegation is Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever and we will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.”

Today, Thug faces new charges, including; a gang charge, drug charges, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a machine gun.
