According to reports, new photos of Fetty Wap’s life in prison surfaced the internet after he was detained and pleaded guilty to federal drug charges in New York. Reportedly, he may carry a minimum sentence of five years in prison. Last month, Fetty Wap attended a court hearing in Long Island where he entered his plea to a single count of conspiracy to produce and distribute 500 grams of cocaine. The “Trap Queen” rapper, born Willie Junior Maxwell II, told the judge:
“I agreed with other people to distribute cocaine.”
The 31-year-old appeared posted up in prison wearing a brown prison jumpsuit alongside three of his fellow inmates. Reports state that Fetty was being held at a specific housing unit at a Brooklyn federal jail. Elizabeth Macedonio, his attorney, said she was “very concerned about his housing” due to him possibly being subjected to harsh conditions. Elizabeth Macedonio requested that her client be transferred to another prison while he’s waiting to be sentenced.

As previously reported, Fetty’s charges stemmed from his arrest last October where he and his five other co-defendants were accused of possessing and distributing 220 pounds of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine between June 2019 and June 2020. He was arrested after prosecutors claimed he flashed a gun and threatened to kill a man during a December 2021 FaceTime call.
