‘Munch’ Rapper Ice Spice Accused Of Backing Out Of Previously Booked $4K Show Over $11K Booking Price Increase

Rising rapper  Ice Spice is giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “yesterday’s price is not today’s price.”

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard the song “Munch (Feelin’ U)” from 22-year-old Bronx native Ice Spice. To date, the catchy tune has amassed over 5 million views on Youtube and well over 4 million streams on Spotify.

As the song continues to gain recognition, Ice Spice’s stardom grows even bigger. Recently she was spotted in Toronto attending a concert with famed rapper Drake, 35.

Despite the rapper’s budding popularity, it seems that she has landed herself in the hot seat for the very first time. According to reports, a promoter who booked Ice Spice almost a month ago when her fee was $4,000 recently claimed that because her price has gone up to $15,000 (an $11,000 increase) her team is pulling her off shows booked with the old price.

In a statement shared online, they wrote,

Ice Spice took to Twitter to address the claims of the party promoter. The rapper shared the “cap” emoji, seemingly indicating that the promoter is lying.

However, she then wrote,

“yesterday’s price not today’s price”

Fans weighed in on the rapper’s reported flakiness and shared:

What are your thoughts on this entire situation? Do you think Ice Spice should honor her old booking fee? Tell us in the comments below!
