Drakeo the Ruler – Late Rapper’s Estate Sued For $100K In Back Rent & Damages
Drakeo the Ruler’s property is allegedly behind thousands of dollars on rent.
According to reports, a man named Oliver Omidvar claimed he rented a place in Hollywood Hills to the late Los Angeles rapper back in June 2021 for $14,500/month. New legal documents state that Drakeo the Ruler’s old landlord, Oliver Omidvar, said he stopped getting monthly payments in January 2022, a month after the “Talk To Me” rapper was killed.

According to the lawsuit, the property was allegedly left in shambles. The suit noted damages that included electronics, windows, and skylights. In addition, the suit claimed several thousands of dollars were used to fix plumbing, drywall, and new coats of paint on the walls.
Reportedly, Oliver Omidvar is seeking a total of $104,542.60 from Drakeo the Ruler’s estate to pay for the back rent and damages.
As previously reported, Drakeo was unfortunately killed in December 2021 while backstage at the “Once Upon a Time in L.A.” music festival. The Los Angeles native was attacked and fatally stabbed in the neck. He was 28 at the time of his passing.
Drakeo, born Darrell Caldwell, has other lawsuits pending amid his passing. The West Coast rapper’s brother, Devonte “Ralfy the Plug” Caldwell, is suing the festival for failing to protect Drakeo from being stabbed to death.

In February, the mother of the late rapper’s 5-year old son filed a $60 million wrongful death lawsuit against Live Nation on his behalf. The lawsuit argues that Live Nation was,
“completely knowledgeable of the potential dangers posed to both their guests and the performers they hired based on numerous past incidents of violence and death at their hip hop events.”
