Styles P Recalls Time When He & The LOX Group Members Almost Got Into A Fight w/ Pro Boxer Mike Tyson To Protect Eve: We In A F*cked Up Position

There are not too many people who can win against Mike Tyson, but Styles P (real name David R. Styles) and the LOX were apparently willing to at least put up a fight.

The Yonkers rapper appeared on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, where he spoke about the fight that almost unfolded at an awards presentation. The reason behind the possible fight? He was defending fellow rapper Eve with the help of his LOX comrades.

Styles P said,

“Vegas or L.A., it’s one of them awards. We see Mike, we’re chilling. Eve is with us, though — us three, there’s nobody else there. And [Mike’s] on his bully and we decided, ‘We gotta protect Eve.’ We was deciding who was gonna get knocked out. I was like, ‘I got a knife. Mike’s gonna kill us!'”

Styles, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch felt obligated to protect Eve, probably as a result of Mike Tyson‘s 1992 rape conviction — but neither of them wanted to risk getting hit by the heavyweight champion.

He continued,

“He just liked Eve for how she was looking. Eve was nervous; we with Eve so gotta be the protectors, so now we in a fucked up position. Now we deciding who’s gonna take the Mike blow. We decided Louch. Louch was like, ‘Fuck no!’ I’m like, ‘I’ma die! I’m little!’ Nobody can take this blow. We trying to come up with a strategy. What do you do?”

This is not the first time a LOX member has spoken about what transpired on that night many years ago. Previously, Jadakiss described the tense situation on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN‘s Drink Champs podcast in 2016, disclosing precisely what Tyson said to Eve.

Jadakiss said,

“Mike told Eve, ‘Eve, I’ll fuck the shit outta you.'”

Styles P’s recollection of events comes not long after Fat Joe shared on the same podcast that Tyson once offered Remy Ma a Mercedes-Benz to spend the night with him. According to Fat Joe,

“He wanted to keep Remy Ma. He made her offers. He showed this convertible Benz, new sh*t. He was like, ‘You can keep this, all you gotta do is spend one night.’” 

It’s worth noting that the request was made a long time ago and none of the parties involved were married yet.

In response to Styles P‘s recollection of the events regarding Eve, an apologetic Tyson said,

 “I didn’t mean that, Eve. Me and Eve, we made amends. I said sorry. That’s all I care about.”
