Reports have been released regarding Beyonce’s team responding to a claim stating that her stylist Marni Senofonte didn’t pay Nusi Quero for his work on the singer’s album “Renaissance.” A representative for Beyonce said:

‘It is deeply troubling that designer Nusi Quero has posted damaging statements about Marni Senofonte regarding non-payments for work completed.”

On Thursday (Oct. 14) the representative continued:

“In fact, he was paid for his work, and there is proof of all payments made.”

The representative added:

“We have been in communication with his team and there were three payments made to him. The first payment was made on May 9, 2022.”

This week fashion and art designer Nusi Quero took to Instagram to address Marni Senofonte claiming he wasn’t compensated for his assistance for the Grammy award winner’s seventh studio album. Nusi Quero said:

“As a stylist for B, I really expected the best from you and your team but since you won’t responded to texts and emails. I supposed this is the final venue I can utilize before legal means to settle your outstanding balances, that you’ve owed me and my collaborator for about 3 months.”

According to Quero, Senofonte “paid a 50 percent deposit to me for one of the three jobs, ,nothing more, and it took over a month to get it to us.” Beyonce’s rep alleged that Quero’s bank had issues and never attended to the issue as the payments were returned. The rep said:

“The second payment, a fifty percent down payment on the agreed cost, was made via wire on July 8, 2022. The third and final payment was returned when he changed his account number. It was returned as an invalid account number based on an error on his part.”

The rep continued:

“After persistent and exhausting communication to get the correct information on his account and two unsuccessful wire transfer attempts, a physical check was mailed to him for final payment on September 29, 2022.”

In a post shared on Wednesday (Oct. 12) the designer took inventory of four different jobs he did for the 41-year-old, including “Renaissance,” an album cover piece, a varying showcase and a red custom 3D printed top made last minute for a video shoot. Quero said:

“This industry is mega f***y to the core and in its crevices.”

He also continued venting that he was “sick of independent designers like me being treated like this.” He added:

“We are so often the last to get paid, the last to suck on the wet dirt after everyone dries up the rivers that flow from our springs.”

He shared:

“We are the source. The work I do is next level. It is so fiscally undervalued for the placements it’s had it’s astounding.”

Using a lyric from Beyonce’s “PURE/HONEY,” Quero said:

“Don’t be funny with my money, honey.”

The celebrity designer was originally excited to do work for the “Crazy In Love” artist. On June 30th, a few weeks before “Renaissance” was released, Quero shared the album cover on Instagram and said:

“Beyonce wears a full look by Nusi. I can’t believe I just typed that. No words.”

What are your thoughts on Nusi Quero claiming Beyonce’s stylist didn’t pay him for his work on “Renaissance?”
