Beyonce Reveals Cover Art For Seventh Studio Album ‘Renaissance’ & Explains Inspiration Behind Image

Beyonce has continued to drop more gems for her upcoming project on social media.

On Thursday (June 30) Beyonce, 40, took to Instagram to share the cover art for her seventh studio album “Renaissance,” which will be available on July 29. In a caption, Beyonce explained her vision behind the cover art. The Grammy-award-winning singer said:

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment.”

Beyonce added:

“A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

As previously reported, Tina Lawson, entrepreneur and Beyonce’s mother, admitted that her daughter worked on ‘Renaissance’ for two years. Tina Lawson said:

“I’m very, very excited. I just posted recently that I really miss her singing, and I do. I’m as excited as everybody else. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it. She put two years of love into this. Many, many nights all night working. So, I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”

“Renaissance” serves as the 40-year-old’s first solo album in six years after her Grammy-winning project “Lemonade,” which was released in 2016.
