EXCLUSIVE: Comedian DeRay Davis Opens Up About Being In A Relationship w/ Two Women: I’m In A Very Comfortable Place

theJasmineBrand exclusively reports the latest on DeRay Davis‘ unconventional relationship!

While sitting down with TJB founder Jasmine Brand, the 40-year-old actor/comedian opened up about his dating life since revealing he’s dating two women at the same time. Back in 2016, DeRay Davis and his two partners at that time briefly appeared on the Oxygen reality series Living With Funny. Though untraditional relationships weren’t as widely accepted at time, it seems Davis remained true to his partners, as he recently confirmed that not much has changed about their relationships.

Speaking on his relationship, which he calls being in “a relationships”, the Barbershop star stated:

“It’s been pretty much the same since before…nothing’s changed since whatever was televised….I’m in a very comfortable place,”

Davis continued, speaking about if he would ever marry both women he’s in relationships with. He said:

“We accept everything else. If all these other laws pass, if you can financially have it….romantically handle it, physically handle it – then you should be able to do whatever you want with the love in your heart.”

Though many criticized the polygamous relationship at the time it was revealed, Davis has staunchly claimed to be in the relationships for the love and support each member shares for one another, not sex. The comedian doubled down on his stance during the interview, stating he doesn’t care too much about other’s opinions. He stated:

“It’s acceptable to us…..Everybody say ‘that wouldn’t be me’, no it wouldn’t be, cause it’s not you.”

Davis often shows love via his instagram to clothing owner Coco Ashley. Back in February of last year, Ashley penned a sweet message to “the love of her life” and best-friend writing:

2/26 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my bestfriend and loml Me personally, I don’t think anyone is the same person throughout the entirety of any relationship. So many things happen in our lives that contribute to who we become, we’re never the same person we were 10 years, 5 years, or even a year ago.
