Quavo & Takeoff Reveal What It Would Take For Migos To Reunite & Who The Group Would Be Willing To Do A Verzuz Battle Against
Could a Migos reunion be taking place in the near future?
It’s no secret that the Atlanta rap group Migos is currently on a hiatus. Even though the 3 members – Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff – haven’t directly spoken about what caused the rift between them, fans can tell that there definitely seems to be tension surrounding the “Hannah Montana” rappers. Over the summer Offset and his wife – fellow rapper Cardi B – unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff on social media.

Some reports claim issues between the men started after Quavo’s ex-girlfriend Saweetie reportedly slept with Offset. Earlier this month, Quavo and Takeoff released an album without Offset entitled ‘Only Built for Infinity Links.’ On the project, Quavo alluded that their beef is over a girl. On the track ‘Messy’ he raps,
“I said ‘Caresha please’ ’cause she too messy, B***h f*** my dawg behind my back, but I ain’t stressin’, You wanted the gang, you shoulda just said it, we would have blessed it, Now sh** got messy,”
However, it’s important to note that some think he may have been talking about his label mate Lil Baby, who reportedly briefly dated Saweetie following their breakup.

During the latest ‘Drink Champs’ episode, the trio turned duo was asked if they faced any hardships losing a group member and transitioning into their new Unc & Phew moniker.
According to Quavo, because Migos initially came together when Offset was in jail it was easy to adapt to the new changes. He said,
“Not really, because that’s how we started. [Offset] was locked up when we came in. We kept his name alive, and just made sure we let the people know there were three [Migos]”

Later in the interview, they were asked if would they would ever do a Verzuz battle. Quavo seemed intrigued by the question and replied,
“Name who ya’ll think could Verzuz us – but, we can’t do no O.G.s.”
When asked by show co-host N.O.R.E. if the potential Verzuz battle would prompt a reunion with their estranged group member Takeoff replied,
“If the check right.”
