Sheryl Lee Ralph crossed paths with a Delta employee who was follows the airlines’ rules by any means necessary.
Sunday afternoon (Oct. 30) actress Sheryl Lee Ralph took to Twitter to share a video explaining a disagreement that she had with a Delta employee who refused to check on her luggage after she was four minutes late.

Sheryl Lee Ralph shared:
“Hey everybody. A blessed Sunday to you. So listen, this just happened. I went to the airline, you know the one that I’m a three million miler on, to check my bags and I was four minutes late, cause they need 45 minutes for you to check in.”
The 65-year-old continued:
“The woman said oh ‘there is absolutely nothing we can do for you.’ I was like ‘um, it’s only four minutes, I’ve checked in on flights later than this.’”
The “A Piece of the Action” actress added:
“‘Oh absolutely not!’ and I was just saying you know what in these days and times just be kinder, just be nicer, ‘cause you just never ever know.”
The Tony award winner concluded:
“Anyway, I just bought my ticket on American Airlines and we’ll be flying now. Thank you! God bless you and be well.”

As previously reported, the Emmy award winning actress called out Jimmy Kimmel for laying on the floor while “Abbott Elementary” creator and costar Quinta Brunson accepted her Emmy award for “Best Writing in a Comedy Series.” On Wednesday (Sept. 14) Sheryl shared:
“I was absolutely confused. I didn’t know what was going on. I wish that man would just get up off the ground. Then I realized it was Jimmy Kimmel. Ooh, the disrespect, Jimmy! But that’s just me. I told him, too, to his face. He understood.”
