DJ Mustard’s Estranged Wife Reveals She Signed A Prenup Despite Being w/Him “Shooting In The Gym”: I Walked Away From Everything I Knew

It seems as though famed musician DJ Mustard’s former spouse is still feeling a way about their split.

Chanel Thierry, 30, sent a few not so subtle shots at her longtime partner via instagram earlier today. Back in May of this year Thierry confirmed that she split from DJ Mustard, real name Dijon McFarlane, 32. after more than a decade together. The pair officially tied the knot in October of 2020, however, Mustard filed to have the nuptials dissolved less than two years later.

Posted as a written caption over a solo photo of herself, Thierry wrote:

“I KEEP PRIVATE FOR THE MOST PART FOR OTHERS COMFORT. BUT U GET NO COOL POINTS FOR F*CKING OVER YOU DAY 1. I’M SOLID AND LOYAL AS THEY COME I BRING MORE THEN MONEY TO THE TABLE AND WILL ALWAYS ADD TO THE TABLE I SIT AND EAT FROM – MANAGEMENT”

In another, the mother of 3 posted a photo with her young children who she shares with her estranged ex, revealing she signed a prenup. She wrote:

“S/O TO ME FORREAL, I WALKED AWAY FROM EVERYTHING I EVER KNEW, SIGNED A PRENUP EVEN THO I WAS “SHOOTING IN THE GYM” AND STILL DIDN’T PUT UP A FIGHT. TAKING CARE OF MY BABIES ON MY OWN IS THE MOST REWARDING FEELING”

At the time of the separation, Thierry spoke about dedicating 12 years of her life to the relationship. In a post thanking everyone for thoughtful and kind words, she wrote:

“Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Anyone that followed me or knows me personally knows my family means the world to me. I’ve dedicate [sp] 12 loyal years and it is more then [sp] heartbreaking to see things end.”

Reportedly, Mustard cited the reason for the divorce was “irreconcilable differences” and asked for joint legal and physical custody of their children, Kiylan, 10, Kauner, 7, and Kody, 2.

The musician has still not publicly addressed the divorce at this time.
