Justin Bieber Is ‘Scared To Death’ of Former Neighbor Judge Judy
Judge Judy (real name Judith Sheindlin) is well-known for her commanding presence in court, but Justin Bieber is apparently terrified of her for a totally different reason.
The “Yummy” singer used to live next door to the TV judge, and after she made public comments about his teen years, he allegedly started to fear her.
Judge Judy recalled that Justin Bieber apparently asked his security to notify him of the Judge’s time outside so he wouldn’t unintentionally cross her path.
She said,
“He’s scared to death of me. There was a period of time before he grew up — when he was foolish, and doing foolish things.”

“I must have said something about it, and then, I understood that he was paying the front door people to let them know when I was there, coming and going, so he wouldn’t have to bump into me.”
Following his DUI conviction in 2014, Judge Judy said Justin Bieber might be taking his fame for granted. Bieber was caught drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini on a Miami Beach street and was taken into custody in Florida after failing a sobriety test. He was later charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
According to Judge Judy‘s then-analysis of the young artist,
“Being a celebrity is a gift. You could either treat it reverently or you could make a fool out of yourself. And he’s doing a very good job of making a fool out of himself.”
She added,
“I think it’s sad. And nobody’s going to remember that he was a marginal singer. But they’re going to remember a young kid who had a chance to have it all and who is blowing it by acting like a fool.”

Since then, Bieber has changed his ways, continuing to put out music and appearing to be content with the life he is leading with his wife Hailey Bieber, whom he wed in 2018. He gave God, who he claimed had never left his side, the credit for his transition in a 2021 Instagram post in which he reflected on the past and how far he had come.
According to Bieber,
“7 years ago today I was arrested, not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in my life. I was hurting, unhappy, confused, angry, mislead, misunderstood and angry at god.”

He continued,
“All this to say God has brought me a long way. From then til now I do realize something.. God was as close to me then as he is right now. My encouragement to you is to ‘let your past be a reminder of how far god has brought you. Don’t allow shame to ruin your “today” let the forgiveness of Jesus take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has designed you to be. LOVE YOU GUYS WITH MY WHOLE HEART”
