Adele Admits To Having Five Therapy Sessions A Day After Divorcing Ex-Husband Simon Konecki
Splitting from Simon Konecki wasn’t easy for Adele.
Amid a performance during her Las Vegas residency, Adele opened up about receiving therapy after splitting from her ex-husband Simon Konecki. The former couple called it quits in 2019 and finalized their divorce in 2021. A video posted to Twitter revealed the “Easy On Me” singer admitting:
“This might sound a bit annoying to you but I’m going to tell you anyway.”
The 34-year-old continued:
“I started having therapy again, right? So I went a few years not having it. I needed to start before, obviously. When I was going through my divorce, I was basically doing five therapy sessions a day.”
The “Skyfall” singer shared that she went back to therapy to hold herself accountable for the things that she would say. The London native then said:
“But now I am doing it because I just want to make sure I’m topping myself up every week to make sure I can give you everything.”

As previously reported, Adele is madly in love with her new beau Rich Paul. The singer and the famed sports manager reportedly moved into their $58 million Beverly Hills home together after dating for a year. In a previous interview, Adele described her relationship with Rich Paul as the most ‘incredible, openhearted, and easiest’ one she’s ever been in.
While on stage, Adele revealed speaking to her therapist consistently about performing at huge events that “fills her with dread.” She shared:
“It was about these shows. I always get so emotional. I love making music, but there is something about performing live that actually terrifies me and fills me with dread.”
She added:
”That is why I am not a big touring artist. I did it last time to prove I could do it. But this experience of being in a room this size, I think I might be a live artist for the rest of my life.”
