Joe Budden Shares Why He Doesn’t Like Megan Thee Stallion: I’ve Seen This Woman Do Horrible Things To Some Really Great People

Joe Budden isn’t here for Megan Thee Stallion, and it’s not because of her beef with Tory Lanez.

If you didn’t know, earlier this month, Joe Budden expressed that he disliked chart-topping rapstress Megan Thee Stallion, and the Hotties lit the internet up in flames over his ill words.

While discussing Megan Thee Stallion’s tumultuous legal battle with Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot her back in 2020, Joe Budden flat-out announced on his podcast that he didn’t “like that girl.”

Budden indicated that the shooting trial was (seemingly) not playing out so well in court. He also hinted that he believed that Tory Lanez’s “relationship” with Stallion wasn’t under genuine pretenses.

“This is the clout chaser’s endgame. That’s what this trial is to me. This is clout chaser avengers. He shouldn’t have been f*cking [Megan Thee Stallion].”

Budden continued,

“You ever seen any of the other girls he f*cked? Let’s call a spade a spade, yo. [Tory Lanez] was f*cking Meg Thee Stallion for one reason and one reason only.”

However, he did make it clear that he wasn’t necessarily siding with Tory Lanez, and he truly felt that Stallion was, indeed, injured on the night of the shooting.

But (apparently) Budden is still sticking by the fact that the 27-year-old just isn’t his cup of tea, and it’s allegedly due to some additional circumstances that left a sour taste in his mouth about the ‘Traumazine’ lyricist.

In a later episode of his show, Budden doubled down on his statement and explained where his condemnation of Stallion came from.

He detailed a brief conversation that he’d had with his mother:

“My mom called me [and] she said, ‘Yo! Why you say you ain’t like [Megan Thee Stallion]?’ I said, ”Cause I don’t like that girl.’ She said, ‘Yeah, but you didn’t have to say you didn’t like the girl.’ I said, ‘Yeah, but I didn’t have to not say it! Like, I stand in my dislike for the girl.'”

The rapper-turned-media-personality went on by letting it be known that his poor feelings about Stallion existed well before her and Lanez’s chaotic occurrence commenced.

“So, let me be clear to the audience. That has nothing to do with this case or Tory Lanez. For me, personally, I’ve seen this woman do horrible things to some really great people that I have long-standing relationships with, in this industry. So, I’m biased. Like, you can’t just treat my friends, and people I f*ck with, and people I’ve seen in this game for fifteen years, a certain way.”

Aside from that, Budden did state that, even though Stallion may not be on his list of liked people, he’s aware of the traumatic events she has gone through.

“That aside, I’m talking about her and what she’s chosen to do professionally. I want to be clear; I don’t know her as a person. She could be amazing, but there’s a lot to deal with when you sign, and a lot happens fast. So, I want to have grace and be sensitive. She lost her mother; there’s been loss. There’s been loss. And they’ve established those were bullet fragments in her foot. She was injured.”

Megan Thee Stallion has yet to address Joe Budden’s comments.
