A$AP Rocky & A$AP Relli Pause Civil Lawsuit Amid Rapper’s Criminal Trial For Alleged 2021 Shooting
Things have come to a standstill in the case of A$AP Relli versus A$AP Rocky.
As previously reported, A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, was named as the triggerman responsible for an alleged 2021 shooting. It was later revealed that one of the alleged victims in the case was fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli. Although Relli, born Terell Ephron, filed a civil suit against the “Fashion Killa” rapper over the alleged shooting, both parties reportedly have agreed to halt the trial.
According to a report from Radar Online, the former friends opted to forgo their case for now due to Rocky’s criminal case. Reportedly, the new father is charged with two criminal counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm for the incident. The report states that Rocky would have to invoke his 5th amendment in his trial with Relli to avoid statements that could incriminate him in the criminal prosecution. Thus, both parties have agreed to wait to continue their legal battle until after Rocky’s criminal trial has concluded.

ASAP Rocky arrives at the courthouse in Los Angeles on Aug. 17.
Earlier this year, Rocky was detained after exiting an aircraft with his superstar girlfriend Rihanna. The couple was coming from a baby-moon trip to Barbados when the rap star was surprisingly charged in connection to the November 2021 shooting. Reportedly, Relli went to the police and named Rocky as the shooter. The A$AP Mob member reportedly claimed an argument almost turned deadly after the “D.M.B.” artist fired four shots at him.

Rocky reportedly has since pleaded not guilty to shooting Relli. His criminal trial is expected to continue early next year.
