Trina Braxton Trends As Fans React To Resurfaced ‘Braxton Family Values’ Clip Of Herself Arguing w/ Sister Tamar Braxton

Trina Braxton and Tamar Braxton’s argument over chicken has resurfaced and has the internet buzzing!

Twitter users  are known for resurfacing funny clips from reality television and recently they got a chance to laugh at an old episode of “Braxton Family Values.”

As you may already know, “Braxton Family Values,” which aired from 2011 to 2020, chronicled the lives of the Braxton sisters — Toni, Traci (who passed away from esophageal cancer in March), Towanda, Trina, and Tamar — and their mother, Evelyn.

During the now-viral resurfaced clip, Braxton sisters Trina and Tamar showed that you’re never too grown to get into a little argument with your sibling. While going back and forth with her younger sister, Trina Braxton said:

“I’m not gon’ do a transfer of energy with this right here.”

Tamar Braxton disagreed:

“I have great energy.”

Trina, 48, replied:

“No you – actually you have the worse energy in the world.”

Seemingly hitting below the belt, Tamar Braxton fired back:

“Your baby father.”

Trina continued:

“Yup. He does too. So does yours. Now put that sh*t in your corn cob pipe and smoke that m*th*rf*ck*r cause nobody got time for this!”

Tamar, 45, insisted:

“Don’t play with me!”

Showing that she’s prepared to square up, Trina added:

“What?”

Tamar claimed:

“You’re pathetic.”

Trina responded:

“Yes you are.”

The sisters continued to argue, with Tamar stating:

“Trina grow up.”

Trina then shaded the “Love and War” singer and said:

“You grow up. Raise your child, by yourself.”

Despite how intense the argument between the famous sisters may have been at the moment, fans couldn’t help but find the resurfaced video amusing. A Twitter user wrote:

“I loooooove Tamar but she deserved all the energy they gave her. She was a menace.”

Another Twitter user disagreed, claiming the Braxton sisters tag-teamed Tamar. The tweet read:

“In THIS particular episode, they did come after Tamar. Don’t ask for an opinion if you’re not ready for the feedback. Over chicken?”

A different Twitter user weighed in and claimed Tamar has a history of crying wolf. They wrote:

“Tamar was always playing victim after starting mess.”

The fourth season of the popular family reality series was reportedly the show’s most-watched season ever. Despite the success of “Braxton Family Values,” things almost came to a premature halt after Tamar attempted to take her own life in July 2020.

As previously reported, before season 7 premiered, the singer made headlines after she was found “unresponsive” by her now ex-boyfriend at a Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Los Angeles. Tamar was hospitalized after reportedly combining alcohol and sleeping pills. Following the tragedy, the family decided to proceed with season 7 of the show. However, according to reports, in February 2022, Towanda Braxton confirmed that the show had been canceled by WE tv.

After her suicide attempt, Tamar shared her grievances with the network, alleging they mistreated her and exploited her mental illness for ratings. In July 2020, Tamar took to Instagram and was candid about what led up to her hospitalization and how WE tv took advantage of her.

Her lengthy caption read:

“First and foremost, Thank you. Thank you to each and every individual who has prayed for me, thought of me, sent me their love and has showered me with their support. In this present moment, it is my only responsibility to be real with myself and to be real with the ones who truly love me and care for my healing. I have without fail, shared with you my brightest days, and I know that sharing with you what has been my darkest will be the light for any man or woman who is feeling the same defeat I felt just only a week ago. “

She continued:

“Every one of us has a desire, whether small or big, to make it out of where we come from to an ideal future place that includes, freedom to be who we choose, security for our children and families, and fortune to share with the ones we love. We believe these things can co-exist with just being happy. I believed that, that as a black woman, as an artist, an influence, a personality I could shape my world, and with whom I believed to be my partners, they could help me share my world.”

She added:

“Over the past 11 years there were promises made to protect and portray my story, with the authenticity and honesty I gave. I was betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid. I wrote a letter over 2 months ago asking to be freed from what I believed was excessive and unfair. I explained in personal detail the demise I was experiencing. My cry for help went totally ignored. However the demands persisted. It was my spirit, and my soul that was tainted the most. There are a few things I count on most to be, a good mother, a good daughter, a good partner, a good sister, and a good person. Who I was, begun to mean little to nothing, because it would only be how I was portrayed on television that would matter. It was witnessing the slow death of the woman I became, that discouraged my will to fight. I felt like I was no longer living, I was existing for the purpose of a corporations gain and ratings, and that killed me.”

The mother of one concluded:

Mental illness is real. We have to normalize acknowledging it and stop associating it with shame and humiliation. The pain that I have experienced over the past 11 years has slowly ate away at my spirit and my mental.”
