50 Cent Hints At Possible Return To Music: I’m Gonna Remind The People I’m Nice
50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) appears to be ready to return to the booth!
The G Unit founder shared a link to an article noting which rappers were the “most watched” on YouTube in 2022. While seemingly celebrating that he made the cut, 50 Cent alluded that he’s ready to return to the world of music. In one post praising fellow rapper Eminem for being at the top of the list, he shared,
“That’s my Boy ?, Im gonna remind people i’m nice this year. New Music ?New Tv ?New movie ? let’s go!”

In another post, he added,
“I didn’t put nothing out in a while. I would be mad if I was new and I wasn’t on the list.”

The friendship between 50 Cent and Eminem dates back to at least 2002. In fact, 50 might not have established himself in the music industry without “The Real Slim Shady“.
Before the release of his debut studio album, titled “Power of the Dollar,” 50 was shot nine times on May 24, 2000, in Queens, New York. Columbia Records subsequently dropped him from their label and shelved the album’s release.
Fast forward, Eminem heard a copy of 50‘s “Guess Who’s Back?” mixtape in 2002 and was so impressed, he extended an invitation to the rapper to visit Los Angeles, where he met producer Dr. Dre. The “No Mercy, No Fear” mixtape was released by 50 after he inked a $1 million record deal with Eminem and Dr. Dre.
And even though he has made a name for himself as a successful businessman through his many ventures — which include executive producing Starz’s “Power” franchise and the “BMF” series, serving as a licensed boxing promoter through his company SMS Promotions, and being the owner of Sire-Spirits — his Instagram followers appear to be ready for his return to music.
One Instagram user said,
“I was just wondering would we ever get an album again. I was happy with just the work outside music but this would be”

Another user added,
“Please drop music these n*ggas need a reminder badly”

Another user apparently misses what some might consider the good ol’ days, encouraging 50 to
“make a album about ya life growing up produced by EM and Dre”

50 hasn’t released a full-length album since “Animal Ambition” in 2014, and it’s been 20 years since he dropped his debut studio album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” which was ranked as one of the best albums of the 2000s. The album earned the Grammy-Award-winning rapper a lot of success, including the best-selling album in the US in 2003 and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album at the 2003 American Music Awards.
