The moment on stage with the legend seemed like a dream to Lola Brooke. Following the performance the rapper took to Twitter and wrote:
“Lil Kim brought me out at the Apollo ! This my first time ever at the Apollo I never in life been here ! I can’t believe this shit mannn ! Cant wait to go home and f*cking cry. I need some space to myself cuz Wtf yo !”
In a follow-up tweet she added:
“I love you & thank you so much Kim . you just took weight off my back knowing that you got mine ! @LilKim”

Brooke may be a new artist dominating the industry by storm, but Lil Kim is known to be one of the greatest female rappers of all time. After dropping out of high school in her mid-teen years, Kim met the late Notorious B.I.G who helped her maintain her spot in hip-hop. The Grammy-award winning rapper‘s debut album “Hard Core” was certified double platinum by the RIAA and as of 2007, the 48-year-old has sold over 15 million albums worldwide.
