Cardi B Defends Husband Offset As J. Prince Claims To Have Saved The Couple From Dangerous Situations Many Times: ‘Whole Bunch Of Fairy Tales’

One thing for certain, two things for sure…Cardi B is always ready to set it off about her husband, Offset!

As previously reported, famed music executive J. Prince recently took a couple of shots at Migos rapper Offset in an episode of the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast.

During the now-controversial interview, J. Prince expanded on the allegations of his (+ J. Prince Jr. and Mike Prince) rumored involvement with Takeoff’s tragic death, who was Offset’s bandmate/cousin.

Offset, J Prince, Takeoff

If you didn’t know, in November 2022, 28-year-old Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley in Houston. At the time, he was in attendance for J. Prince Jr.’s private party. Things were said to have gone left after a dice-game argument.

Following the occurrence, J. Prince and his camp were at the head of the speculation surrounding whispers of their possible connection to the murder. However, while sitting down with “Million Dollaz Worth of Game,” J. Prince (seemingly) cleared the air but also got some things off of his chest.

He hinted that there had been some talking from Offset behind the scenes, which he wasn’t too fond of, and made claims that the 31-year-old lyricist was estranged from Takeoff prior to his passing.

The Rap-A-Lot CEO started off:

“This Offset dude. I ain’t gon’ leave him out. You know, I’m just real like this.”

He continued,

“N*ggas be throwing rocks and hiding they hand, right? I don’t like them kind of individuals.”

Prince then indicated that Offset was faking the funk for the sake of his image.

“The truth of the matter is, you know, one can dance and [do] different things in front of different cameras and all that kinda sh*t, and in reality, the truth of the matter is, n*gga you wasn’t really right there with Takeoff when he was alive.

Offset, Takeoff

Of course, subsequent to the airing of the episode, Offset took to the internet with a few opinions of his own, and he didn’t take too kindly to Prince speaking on the relationship that he and Takeoff shared.

The “CODE” rhymer said in a video:

“Aye, first off, y’all n*ggas speaking on my real brother! I don’t know what the f*ck y’all n*ggas got going on! Y’all n*ggas speaking on my real brother!”

He furiously added,

“How dare y’all n*ggas even speak on me and Take’s relationship? N*gga, I don’t know you n*ggas from a can of paint, n*gga! Y’all n*ggas don’t know how me and my brother [rocked], n*gga!”

Offset concluded his on-camera rant by calling Prince out for repeatedly speaking on Takeoff’s situation and failing to have respect and consideration for their family. However, it didn’t end there. Prince hopped on Instagram with a post, blasting Offset for supposedly “playing [the] victim.”

With a snapshot of Offset’s clap back clip, Prince expressed in the voiceover attached:

“This clown, Offset, suffering from ‘being a fake m*therf*cker disease.’ He wanna play victim now, but he was a volunteer when he spoke threats about me and [had] my family’s name in his mouth about what he gon’ do. ‘Why you didn’t call me to talk’ is the twist he wanna use. Tell lies in your woman’s ear, n*gga; I don’t have time to listen to weak sh*t.”

The entertainment mogul alleged,

“Now, you wanna fake in front of a camera, trying to hide behind Takeoff’s mother. When I’ve shown nothing but respect for her and family. See, boy, you acting like you apart of a family that don’t really f*ck with you because you a snake.”

According to Prince, Offset isn’t necessarily being truthful about not knowing the Houston native “from a can of paint.” It’s not confirmed, but Prince seemed to have a bond with Takeoff before his demise. After the tragedy, he issued condolences to the loved ones of the fallen rapper.

Prince also claimed that he’s come to Offset’s rescue quite often. But… Offset’s wife, rapstress Cardi B, wasn’t going for it and entered the virtual chat to come to her man’s defense!

Shooting down Prince’s comments, Cardi B simply tweeted:

“BIG LIES.”

Additionally, in response to a Twitter user who “reminded” Cardi B of the time Prince (allegedly) had to protect her in L.A., she replied,

“NEVER….tell him to show receipts….Only people that was there was Wack and Big U….why would he be [called] for anything involving crips? Whole bunch of fairy tales.”

Offset then trailed behind the “Up” emcee with a final word for Mr. Prince. He set the record straight about needing Prince for his “street” affairs, debunking the hearsay.

He wrote:

“Street n*gga [turned police]. Never needed you for no smoke. U da police all mouth with no proof just fairy tales. Let this be the last time we speak on this.”
