GloRilla Claims Promoter Only ‘Paid For A Hosting’ After Upset Fan Threw Drink At Her For Not Performing During Oakland Club Appearance

GloRilla Claims Promoter Only ‘Paid For A Hosting’ After Upset Fan Threw Drink At Her For Not Performing During Oakland Club Appearance

Things got hectic last night (Feb. 8) at an Oakland club where GloRilla was allegedly set to perform.

Fans became upset with the “Internet Trolls” rapper for not performing at a club that was promoted as a live performance. Recently surfaced video footage shows GloRilla walking through the club with security when all of a sudden, someone throws a drink at the entertainer. Her friend then retaliates by throwing water at the person. Following an argument, the footage shows that the angry fan then spits on GloRilla’s friend.

It didn’t take long before the club promoter took to social media to address the situation, and it appears his main concern is getting his money back from GloRilla.

He said:

“I got so many blog sites inboxing me, this sh*t is crazy. N**a woke up on a viral moment. I just want my money back.”

Before the incident, the promoter shared several posts on his Instagram claiming GloRilla was set to perform at the Oakland nightclub. In one post, he wrote:

“She will be performing live… not hosting not a walkthrough. She will be performing live in Oakland, Ca. Tonight.”

However, according to GloRilla, she was never paid to give a performance but instead to host the club for the night. She tweeted:

“No way you think I’m performing when you paid for a hosting crazy tail self.”

She then followed up with:

“I’m so mad dat I can get sued for slapping you hoes !! but you hoes still can get slapped b*tch”

The “F.N.F” rapper previously warned fans against people using her name to scam. GloRilla shut down claims that she never paid her alleged choreographer Trinica Goods and scammed others out of promotion money.

In a statement given to FOX13, GloRilla claimed a scammer had been posing as a member of her team to take advantage of people. She said,

“I was made aware that an individual has been impersonating members of my team and deceiving people for money as part of a scam. I’m looking into the issue, but I’d like to encourage all my fans and supporters to be very careful with how they communicate with online strangers.”

She added,

“It’s important to do research and take the appropriate steps to prevent yourselves from being victimized by cybercriminals posing as celebrity teams.”
