Kodak Black – Arrest Warranted Issued After Rapper Allegedly Tests Postitive For Fentanyl
Rapper Kodak Black is once again in trouble with the law.
According to reports, a Florida judge signed off on an arrest warrant for Kodak, (born Dieuson Octave and legally changed his name to Bill Kahan Kapri), this past Saturday (February 25th), due to probation policy violations.
In July of last year, Kodak was detained in his home state on possession and trafficking charges after police reportedly found more than 30 oxycodone pills in the vehicle. Subsequently, the music artist arrested and was taken to Broward County jail, posting his $75,000 bond shortly after. As part of his conditional release, however, the “Super Gremlin” artist is required to submit to random drug screenings, two of which were compromised in the last few weeks.
Reportedly, Kodak skipped his February 3rd testing all together, and submitted a positive sample February 8th. The report states Black tested positive for an undisclosed amount fentanyl and will be held the moment he comes in contact with law officials. Additionally, the judge reportedly added that Kodak will not be allowed to bail out until the next hearing in his possession case.
After his July arrest, Kodak lashed out at police and alleged he is being set up. If you recall, his initial detainment was the result of a routine traffic stop. The rapper took to twitter after the incident, writing:
“This Sh*t bogus Af I feel like This a character assassination issue Kuz theirs no way I should be getting harassed bout my tag being expired , that’s no reason to even search my car in the first place and going to jail about having my medication in the car is insane.”
Adding:
“Ima Sue these people for every dollar I gotta spend bout this sh*t !”
Neither Kodak nor any of his reps have spoken about the recently issued warrant at this time.
