‘RHOP’ Alum Katie Rost Slams Ashley Darby’s Estranged Husband For Suing Candiace Dillard Bassett For $2 Million Over Oral Sex Allegations: It Better Be A Joke

Former “RHOP” star Katie Rost, 42, has never been someone to bite her tongue or shy away from the truth. The TV personality made headlines last month after admitting she, unfortunately, relapsed amid her ongoing sobriety journey. Thankfully, Katie Rost seems to be in a much better place now and has since restarted the “recovery” process.

As someone who seemingly isn’t afraid to speak their mind, Katie Rost recently called out her former co-star Ashley Darby, 34, for her estranged husband’s lawsuit against Candiace Dillard Bassett, 36.

As previously reported, earlier this season, after Ashley Darby made allegations that Candiace Dillard Bassett’s husband — Chris Bassett, 45, — was entertaining other women, Candiace replied,

“Your husband likes to leave you and go to a man named [censored]’s house and suck his d*ck.”

Looks like Michael Darby, 63, – Ashley Darby’s soon-to-be ex-husband – didn’t like the comment and recently filed a defamation lawsuit against Candiace for $2 million. It’s important to note that rumors that Michael has had sexual relations with men have been brought up for years on the Bravo series. However, Candiace is the only person the businessman has taken legal action against and Katie isn’t too pleased about that.

Yesterday (March 2), Katie took to Twitter and wrote,

“I read something , ridiculous, it better be a joke, Michael: don’t f*ck with [Candiace] slowly back away son.”

She continued and seemingly referenced Ashley revealing during the “RHOP” reunion special that she won’t receive much in her divorce from Michael.

“Hold up… I’m not the type who holds grudges, but I do remember someone telling me what a loser I was for dating broke dudes after having 3 kids. How you doin hun? Full circle.”

When a fan said that Ashley was “horrible” to Katie during her time on the show, she replied,

“Yup , thought it was cool to go for the jugular, life will humble you.”

During his time appearing on “RHOP,” Michael has faced a few allegations that have seemingly made people question his sexuality. In a previous season, some ladies of the series said they overheard him saying he wanted to perform fellatio on Robyn Dixon’s, 43, husband Juan, 44.

He also dealt with a sexual assault allegation as well. In 2018, prosecutors dropped charges against him for second-degree assault and improper sexual contact after he allegedly groped a cameraman while filming for “RHOP.”
