Quinta Brunson Says She Won’t Put Awards On Display In Her Home Because It ‘Looks A Little Obnoxious’
Quinta Brunson has been racking up awards for Abbott Elementary, however, the actress is very particular about where she plans to keep her trophies.
The 33-year-old Abbott Elementary creator, star, and writer recently shared where her many trophies will be displayed. She said,
“I’m going to put them in my office at Warner Bros. I just recently signed an overall deal there, so I have an office that I’m just going to fill with trophies. That’s what I see other executives do.”
Quinta Brunson continued,
“I don’t want them in my home because I think [that] looks a little obnoxious. Once you have multiple wins, I think it so wild to just have them sitting on a table.”

When asked how she remains grounded despite all her recent success, Brunson said that “family, friends [and] tragedy” all play a huge part.
She explained,
“I’ve had a lot of death in my life as all this has been going on. And that’s kept me grounded big time. Having to literally work. Having to worry about the next season of Abbott also keeps me grounded.”
Quinta Brunson has been racking up on awards since Abbott Elementary premiered in December 2021. As of now, her wins include trophies from the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the Emmy Awards.
Abbott Elementary premiered in December 2021 on ABC and was immediately met with critical acclaim. The series follows a group of dedicated, passionate teachers who find themselves thrown together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life.
The series was renewed in March 2022 for a second season that premiered in September. It was then renewed in January for a third season.
