Bronny James’ High School Basketball Career Comes To An End

Bronny James’ high school basketball career is officially over.

On Tuesday (Mar. 7) Sierra Canyon lost to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 80-61, with Bronny James reportedly scoring 10 points during the game. According to reports, Bronny wrapped his senior season averaging 14.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 steals.

This loss officially ended Bronny’s high school basketball career and landed Sherman Oaks a spot in the CIF Southern California Division I state championship game. Sherman Oaks is the number one seed, thanks to their amazing players, which includes Master Ps son Mercy, as well as Duke commit Caleb Foster.

Mercy and Foster scored some major points while playing against Bronny. Mercy reportedly dropped 18 points while Foster dropped a whopping 28 points during the game.

Bronny has yet to announce where he plans on going to college. According to reports, he is expected to choose between his top options: Ohio State, USC and Oregon. With his high school basketball career behind him, Bronny could be a year out from being drafted and playing with his superstar father, Lebron James, in the NBA.

Lebron, who’s very vocal and supportive of his son’s basketball career, recently said his older son is even better than some pro players. The proud father, who hopes to play alongside both his sons professionally, also praised Bronny after the team’s quarterfinal win in early March.

Lebron tweeted,

“Bronny you were SPECIAL tonight kid!! Keep going! #AlwaysProudDad

Last month, Bronny’s family came together to celebrate the teen at senior night.

According to reports, Bronny James balled out during senior night, scoring a near triple-double with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in their win against Loyola. Right next to him on the court was little brother Bryce, 15, who also plays for Sierra Canyon. After the win, the entire James clan, including the Lakers star’s wife Savannah and daughter Zhuri, 8, posed for a photo-op with the young hoopers. Reports state that music mogul Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs was also in attendance.
