Update: GloRilla, Finesse2Tymes: Third Person Dies From Stampede At Rappers’ Show
Update #2: (March 6, 2023): Sad news!
According to reports, a third victim — Aisha Stephens, 35, — who got caught in a crowd stampede during a GloRilla and Finesse2Tymes concert in western New York died from her injuries Wednesday night (Mar. 9).
As previously reported, during the rappers’ performance last weekend concertgoers attempted to rush to safety after shots were allegedly fired inside the venue. Authorities have since shared they don’t believe a shooting ever occurred but instead, the crowd reacted to “accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots.”
The stampede initially left 33-year-old Rhondesia Belton dead, Aisha Stephens and 35-year-old Brandy Miller in critical, life-threatening conditions, and six others with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Monday (Mar. 6) news broke that Miller, unfortunately, was the second victim to die.

Update #1: (March 6, 2023): Unfortunately, a second victim has succumbed to injuries they received during a stampede that took place over the weekend (March 5) at a GloRilla and Finesse2Tymes concert in New York.
As previously reported, during the rappers’ performance, chaos ensued as concertgoers attempted to rush to safety after shots were allegedly fired inside the venue. According to reports, the stampede left a 33-year-old woman dead, two victims in critical, life-threatening conditions, and six others with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Monday (March 6), the Rochester Police Department confirmed one of the two victims in critical condition died in the hospital. It’s important to note that since the stampede, authorities have said they don’t believe a shooting ever took place. Lt. Nicholas Adams stated:
“At this time, there is no evidence to support a shooting having occurred inside the event. The injuries appear to be as a result of a large crowd pushing towards the exits following accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots.”
Original story: (March 6, 2023): GloRilla has spoken out after an unfortunate incident.
According to reports, Sunday night (Mar. 5) GloRilla performed alongside fellow Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes and, unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. During the event, shots were allegedly fired inside the venue, which started a stampede as concertgoers attempted to rush to safety. The stampede left a 33-year-old woman dead and eight others injured. Moments after the incident, GloRilla, 23, took to Twitter and shared:
“I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf. praying everybody is ok.”

Two of the victims are reportedly in critical, life-threatening conditions, while six others were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Following Rochester police’s investigation, it was noted that none of the victims contained gunshot wounds, leading some to doubt if a shooting actually occurred. Lt. Nicholas Adams stated:
“At this time, there is no evidence to support a shooting having occurred inside the event. The injuries appear to be as a result of a large crowd pushing towards the exits following accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots.”

This story comes days after the Memphis rapper’s former bodyguard was fired after refusing to put an upset fan in check. As previously reported, a fan threw a drink in the direction of GloRilla as she and her team walked through a club in Oakland last month. According to the bodyguard, he completed his job, which was protecting the artist, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods. Explaining what happened on social media he said:
“I did my job, it’s complete.”

The ex-bodyguard continued:
“As far as go over there and whoop that m*th*rf*ck*r like that. Nah I ain’t that type of guy. I ain’t going over there to whop nobody. But if they in front of our face and they did that sh*t, man, I’d whoop the breaks off they *ss. It’s ‘gon be sleet, snowing, ugly, her wig would’ve been all over there. They would’ve mopped the floor with that m*th*rf*ck*r the next day if she would’ve threw that water in our face.”
He added:
“She didn’t do that. She did that sh*t from the side, from the crowd. So I ain’t finna go back and whoop nobody. You know why? That’s called assault charge. Ima lose my m*th*rf*ck*ng license.”
