Mama June’s Daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Diagnosed With Stage Four Cancer

Unfortunate news for Mama June and her family. 

According to reports, television personality Mama June’s daughter has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell has reportedly been battling stage four adrenal carcinoma of the liver, kidney and lung since the year began. Before doctors diagnosed Anna Cardwell, 28, she had concerns due to a number of factors she came across which included stomach pain. Adrenocortical carcinoma is a rare illness in which cancer cells form in the outer layer of the adrenal gland, affecting up to 200 Americans every year.

Anna reportedly had her first chemotherapy treatment in February which led to her hair loss. The cancer patient’s family has been taking care of her two daughters, Kaitlyn, 10, and Kylee, 7, – who she shares with her ex-husband Michael Cardwell. Anna’s boyfriend Eldridge has also been supporting his sick girlfriend through this tough time. On Tuesday (Mar. 28) Anna took to Instagram to let her followers know that she’s in good spirits. She wrote:

“Well I ain’t posted here in a while. Your girl is back sorry for the photo dump that’s going to happen hahah I love y’all and I hope y’all hope y’all are having a good week #imback #2023 #tiktok”

Mama June’s family gained popularity after the debut of their We TV reality series “Mama June:From Not to Hot” which focused on Mama June, real name June Shannon’s weight loss journey. The show aired as a spin off of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” reality show back in February 2017.
